Very important, when using our sizing charts if your measurements come to the end of the measurements listed you will need to go to the next size up!
This is for a martingale upgrade only! It DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COLLAR unless you add a standard side release collar to your order, and include this upgrade. By including this upgrade we will make your collar with NO side release buckle and it can only be put on by slipping over your dogs head.
You will want to measure your pups neck and head to make sure it will fit. Once again this is for an upgrade only! You will need to purchase the collar as well to upgrade to this option. Thank you

Easy steps to order the martingale upgrade
1. Pick the side release collar you want (in the martingale size you need, ie: your dog needs a large martingale, you pick a large collar, width doesn’t matter)
2. Add the martingale upgrade in the same matching size, and choose your width.
3. Pick the metal finish that you would like the collar to be made into a martingale with.

Please understand dog collars are for Dogs, Cat collars are for cats. Not all items are available for cats, because we are a dog boutique that sometimes makes cat items. Thank you in advance.
Collars in photo are examples of how the print will look on the strap, your item can vary based on size, style and position of the print. Every screen can vary on coloring we try to take photos with bright white light to reflect the coloring as accurately as possible but each persons individual screen setting can reflect a different color or hue.

Martingales -
Martingales are a gentle choke collar that is used by slipping over the dogs head - Martingales DO NOT HAVE A BUCKLE!
XS fits 10-14" neck - width - 5/8" is standard
Smalls fit 12" -15" neck - width - 3/4" is standard
medium fits 14"-18" neck - width - 1" wide is standard
Large fits 17"-24" neck - width - 1 1/2" is standard
Extra Large fits 20"-29" neck - width - 2" wide is standard
However we do offer several widths that you can choose from

🐾Each Collar is made with a heavy weight webbing core for strength and durability.
🐾We fully wrap the collars in cotton to give each collar the unique style and to help protect your pups skin from any sensitivities.
🐾We sew all of our collars with nylon bonded threads, each seam is triple stitched and hardware is put on with a Box stitch, and securing the D ring to help reduce stress on the buckle.

All of our collars are washable in the washing machine and dryer, we do recommend if your collar comes with metal hardware that you place it in a pillow case or garment bag to protect your washer from the metal banging around inside.

Cleaning instructions: machine wash and air dry. No iron needed.••Different colored plastic buckles do not come in 1 1/2” wide. Small and extra small items with colored buckles can have metal tri glides.

* we cannot make an item that we would deem unsafe for your pup.
* we do not copy other shops work
* we do not add d rings to places that would not normally have D rings because we have not been able to test them and do not want to put anyone’s pup in harm

Since we use 100% cotton fabric, polypropylene webbing and plastic and steel hardware, we are very concerned on our impact of the environment.
Cotton is a natural product
Polypropylene has the lowest impact on the environment of any man made product and is 100% recyclable
What is a martingale collar?
A martingale collar is a gentle choke collar that does not use a buckle. The collar slips over the dogs head and then has a tightening feature if they pull. They are designed for dogs that have larger necks then heads like sight hounds (ie: greyhounds, whippets, and Italian greyhounds). Over the years people have used them on other breeds as well instead of traditional choke collars because they are wider and softer. Our martingales have a heavy weight webbing core as well as a dual d ring for tags or to combine with the main d ring to use the non tightening feature.
Do you guarantee your items
What a wonderful question! We absolutely guarantee all of our stitching that holds on the hardware of your item! All hardware is tested before it’s shipped, however over time with use items can show wear and tear which is absolutely normal.
If you experience any hardware issues immediately after receiving your item please reach out.
Please understand we would love to be able to guarantee everything, however each dog is different and some are rougher on items than others, so we can only guarantee the work that we do when we make the item, like stitching.
It is the pet owners responsibility to choose items that are best suited for their personal fur kids.
Unfortunately we can’t cover chewing or damage from normal wear and tear.
What’s the difference between step in and standard harness?
The step in harness goes on by pulling up once the dogs front legs are in, and then clipping over their shoulders. A standard harness goes over their head, through their front legs and clips around their rib cage. Each harness has a photo of what they look like on.
Extremely important Metal hardware facts
Our metal buckles work with a dual spring system, so this means it’s imperative that the male connector has been pushed all the way in to the female portion to ensure that they are locked in. If they are not pushed all the way in it can cause the buckle to open.
All metal buckles are electroplated with the finish and we have tested them on our own pups. They are a quality product but can be damaged by allowing heavy metal objects like heavy tags or tie outs to bang against them. This can cause pitting, chipping, and degrading the finish, or show wear.
All of our rivets are steel and electroplated with the color associated with them.

Why we use webbing
We use heavyweight and light weight webbing because of the pull strength
Light weight - 1/2” and 5/8” has a pull strength of 300 lbs
Heavy weight - 3/4, 1”, 1 1/2”, and 2” has a pull strength of 600 lbs
We want your pup safe!! Polypropylene webbing is the most biodegradable man made webbing as well as your item will be 100% washable in the washing machine and dryer, it will never lose shape. If the cotton wears your item is still stable.
How do I order a martingale
Ordering a martingale is simple.
Almost all martingales are listed as an upgrade
Step 1. Pick the collar you want in the side release.
Step 2. Add the martingale upgrade, the link should be in the collar item description or it is in the upgrade section of our shop.
Step 3. The size of the standard adjustable and martingale should be the same, make sure to measure the head and neck of your pup.
Step 4. Choose your width and hardware finish
The martingale collars do not have buckles so your choice of buckle color in the side release doesn’t matter, most people just choose the black buckle since no buckle will be added to the collar.
